They're lost in another world. They have a steam boat packed with the best achievements of British science and technology of the progressive 19th century. The crew is civilized, well-armed, and ready for any challenge. But not for such... Andrew Jenkins is a sixteen-year-old sailor of a tiny military expeditionary vessel. He knows from childhood that life is hard, used to fight off trouble and calculate the current "parties" of the daily battle with fate. But the new world - new rules, here you can not trust the water, land, and certainly neighbors in the cabin. This is not an expedition - it's hell. Whether Andrew survived is a question to which the hero himself does not know the answer. In the world of Eldorado such things happen. Author's note: Chronologically the adventures of Andrew Jenkins start after "Attempted Invasion". It's about the very same missing boat. Lost British events were not rushed, so the epic grew to two books. It is divided for convenience of publication and perception, and in sense two books are more logical. In fact, it is one more novel-travel on unknown and little-known areas of Eldorado. Hopefully, what's going on is understandable and self-explanatory without the backstory.
